On 22 September 2024, our DIGITAL IMPACTS golf event took place on the idyllic golf course in Altenstadt. In glorious weather and in the best of company, both golf beginners and experienced players enjoyed an exciting day full of sporting activities and valuable networking.
The programme at a glance
The day began at 10:00 a.m. with a short and long game of introductory golf – ideal for anyone wanting to try golf for the first time. From 12.00 noon, lunch was served in the golf club’s restaurant, where participants were able to discuss the latest developments in the financial services sector in a relaxed atmosphere.
After refreshments, it was off to the golf course from 13:30, accompanied by two professional golf coaches who gave helpful tips and guided the players through the course. Finally, from 15:30 to 17:00, a putting course took place, which culminated in an exciting competition, followed by an award ceremony.
Networking at the highest level
In addition to the sporting part of the event, the focus was on networking between the participants. Industry experts from companies such as Allianz Global Investors, Oddo BHF, KfW and PwC took the opportunity to talk about current trends and challenges in the financial sector in a relaxed environment.
